Here’s how our Trade is doing…

Back again like I never left…
For part 2 this time.
So, last episode we looked at AT&T stock and we put out 100 shares at $26.50. Here’s the update showing where we ended up for the week.
On Friday it was right around $25 (and it’s about the same price since). This means I now own 100 shares of AT&T stock at $26.50 a share.
Admittedly, I’m a little upside down on this one, about $0.30 per share, which isn’t a huge deal. Looking back, it was only about a week or so ago when it was trading at about $26.50.
I’m okay with that, and ultimately long term, I think AT&T is going to trade up beyond $26.50, which is why I’m not overly concerned.
In this one though, I’m not going to write my calls just yet. I think there’ll be a good time at some point during this week to dip back in here and do the calls on it.
I want the price to go up just a little bit so I can collect a little bit higher premium on the week. Usually if I don’t see anything by Tuesday or Wednesday, I’ll still do the call and just take a really conservative one, just to collect a little bit of profit and then go on my way.
But that’s it for this one, just a quick update on my investing journey.
When I’m trying to write calls I want to do it with the best premium– so I’m going to try to wait till a little bit later in the week or maybe even today.
We’ll have to see how the market opens and then we’ll make that call.
